Here one can see the perforation of the warp and weave of the base fabric as the stitching holding the webbing is pulled at very high loads. The stitching is being 'pulled' thru the spectra fabric, leaving a distortion in the fabric. Time to retire Harness
This picture shows "bunching" of fabric after the exposure to the high load is released. The spectra fabric has been so over loaded that it does not return to its normal weave pattern, but remains in a "bunched" state. Time to retire harness.
